To get to know the extraordinary land of the borderland, it is worth visiting the Budry commune. Until now, through the few known, yet undiscovered places of wild Masuria, you can admire, thanks to well-marked bicycle routes.
Thanks to the implementation of the project “On the way of culture and craftsmanship of Sakiai – Budry”, 5 Cyclist Service Points, the so-called MORs, were built. They were built in Sobiech, Popioły, Piłaki Małe, Budzewo and Zabrost Wielki. In addition, beautiful landscapes can be admired from two viewpoints – the Mountains and Brzozowska Góra.
MAZURSKICH ŁOTRÓW TRAIL [MASURIAN SCOUNDREL TRAIL] (40,3 km) – following this trail you will see all the beauty of the unusual Węgorapa Land. The trail leads through the picturesque hills of the Pawłowo Upland, past numerous historical monuments and places embedded in Masurian legends, to finally lead to the natural heart of our municipality – the Skaliskie Forest complex. SZLAK WILKA [WOLF’S TRAIL] (7,5 km) – setting off from Budry, one of Europe’s largest white stork habitats, towards Skalisko, you can experience an unforgettable adventure with wildlife, come face to face with a majestic moose, meet a pack of wild boars or a wolf wandering in the wilderness. Green
SZLAK BUDERSKICH WZGÓRZ [BUDRY HILLS TRAIL] (12,6 km) – by choosing this route you will discover the unusual charm of the Masurian countryside. Picturesque landscapes of flowery meadows, varied by numerous species of wild birds, stretches of cultivated fields and herds of grazing cows – the now rare sights of an idyllic village are set in a hilly, naturally beautiful landscape.
